Chennai and Cuddalore - Flood relief - Information consolidation effort

Consolidating all the sources of information that we cam across and try to stream line them for better communication and efficient relief work.

All the below information is across the internet.
We just need to route the requests to the volunteers and volunteers to the request. Anyone, anywhere with an internet connection and phone can help co-ordinate this.

Suggested steps for co-ordinating

1.Follow all the hashtags in twitter, fb and google.

2. If it is a request for help, group it by area and nature of need.
      Note down the time of the request. (if it is a very old one it might have been handled)
      If there is a contact number call up and confirm.
      Look for volunteer information in the area or nearby (use the source listed below)
      Route the request to the picked group
      Target the information with your best judgement
      (Retweet with mentioned tags, Repost in the fb pages below with the tags)
      and if there is a number call up and confirm with the volunteer.

3. If you get the information of a volunteer / group that is ready to help
       Just have their information logged in chennairains.org and share it with the mentioned tags.
       GET THE CONTACT NUMBER AND AREA AND WHAT THEY CAN HELP WITH
       Will be useful for others who are trying to find groups
