Here i come again with the continuation from my previous post... In this post i shall share my thoughts on the most important question, the question which pushed me to blog on this title....
How can each individual contribute for a green growth?

Let us adopt practice for separating our bio degradable and non bio degradable wastes out of our home. Let us take efforts to trash them in separate bins. If in case you dont have such an option of
disposal in your locality, request for the same via the public grievences site http://pgportal.gov.in/.
If you are skeptical about the same, dont be, i am an example for you. Log in, register a complaint. I did just that and got a feedback for the same. Though they have promised it to be taken up over the few weeks.
Use Less, Waste lesser
Ensure that you use a minimum level of all possible resources, let it be power, water, paper,plastic covers it contributes either for sustainable growth or for the lesser contamination of the environment.
Turn off your lights if you are gonna be out of the room for more than a minute.... Switch to CFLs , though costly it will bring down your electricity charges significantly.
Unplug all your devices properly and promptly... your mobile chargers, laptop chargers, mosquito repellents or for that matter any pluggable devices..
Take care in disposing your electronic/ Plastic wastes. This poses great danger to environment. They take hundreds of years to deteriorate. More often than not these are either burnt or dumped into the ocean which has significant repel effects like in the dominoes game of cards w.ith the last card falling, rather raising is the most important one, Global Temparature.
Reuse your electronic or plastic wastes such as water bottles, your deo spray container, your shampoo container, your worn out mobiles, chargers, computers, watches or any elctronic or electric or plastic material. Find innovative ways to reuse them and also to dispose them. Today we have numerous intiatives from the producers themselves for the safe disposal of e-wastes, let us get aware of the same next time we have a worn out item in our hand.
Usage of plastic covers pose a great threat. Just take a count of the number of
plastic covers you use on a single day. Please do know that it lives longer than you on this planet.
One way to prevent the high number of usage is.. for any anticipated purchase go with a paper cover or a cloth bag, the best. If in case you happen to get hold of more covers start reusing them on your next purchases. Have a bunch of it in your bag.
Plan(t) your way out of trouble. based on the space available in your house plant a sapling or buy a young plant and grow it either in your balcony or backyard or maintian a
small garden. No need to explain, every child knows that plant exchanges our breathtaker for our breathgiver. Water your plant in the early morning to help more absorption. Today ideas of having desktop plant has been in discussion in many corporates.. Remember your desktop computers emit more Carbon di oxide than your 2 wheeler on a single day.
Abide by the rules of the government in green policies. Spen time and effort on this when you construct a house or your office.
If you are parent reading this inculcate habits of green practices to your children afterall it for them that we all are battling for.
If you a Child reading this insist you parent on the same.

Every would have heard it so many times but here again i come back with the same point. Shutdown your computer when you leave for the day. As i said, it emits more CO2 than you would have ever imagines. It adds to the heat of the environment. There would be a needless consumption of power.
Take care to switch off your montor if you are not in you seat for more than a minute. Take care to switch off the lights when you leave for the day.
Initiate practices to work with natural light or less of artificial lights during day time.
@Travel:
It has been identified that man pollutes the environment most when he is on travel. It includes the mode of travel, the frequency of travel, the various unvolunteered activities done on travel like, mis disposal of litter, usage of needless plastics, papers. So be concisous about it when on travel.
Take Common transport instead of your car on atleast one day per week..
If you are a car/two wheeler user, adopt for car pooling.
Carry enough cloth or paper bags in case of any unanticipated purchases.
While dining in hotels,Dont use the paper napkins, instead use your hand herchief..
Avoid throwing litter or waste on streets.
Start Carrying your own bottle of water.
Atlast remeber to spread the green thoughts, meaning create oppurtunites to teach the importance of green preservation, causes of global warming and the focus of the world on it. Take personal discipline and interest to leave a zero carbon foot print for yourselves.
Take specific interest to discuss on this topic to your friends, colleagues and peers at office. Even if one single person get it , it would be a success for you. Lend your support to governments and NGOs in their surge for it.
Soon Being green would mean being wealthy
